Walter Pearson Obituary

Walter Lee Pearson “Sonny” was born to the late Jesse and Carrie Pearson on September 17, 1930.

Walter graduated from Parker Industrial High School.  He joined  the United States Army in 1951.He worked at US Steel for 46 years.

Walter is the last of his siblings:  Willie Pearson and Raymond Pearson.

He confessed Christ at an early age, and was a member of Bethel AME Church Ensley.

He leaves behind:  a devoted loving son, Glen Pearson (Linda), Johnny Brown, and Jeff Pearson; two daughters, Elizabeth Brown and Louise Brown; one granddaughter, Comeshea Pearson-Robinson (Derrick); one great-grandson, Cameron Boyd-Robinson; one great-granddaughter, Chelsie D. Robinson; one loving sister in-law, Mamie Pearson; a host of relatives and friends; and devoted and loving caregiver.

 

“The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus…Now unto our God and Father be the glory forever and ever.  Amen”(Phil. 4:7,20)
