Velma Lois was preceded in death by her parents,

 Sylvester Jones Sr. and Ever Lee Brown Jones, and her brothers, Billie Gibson, Edward Charles Gibson and Sylvester Jones, Jr.

Velma leaves to praise her homegoing, her husband, Samuel Lee Finch, Sr.; her son, Samuel Lee Finch, Jr.; her daughter, Leslie Nikkole (Leo) Hudson; three sisters, Belvia Jean Jones, Jacqueline Jones Causey, and Donna Maria (Cordell) Mitchell; two brothers, Robert Alan (Karen) Jones and Vincent Jones; three grandsons, Kristopher, Kortland, and Kornelius Hudson; 5 great-grandchildren, Kyrie, Kaniyah, Kailyn, Kristopher Jr., and Kelani Hudson, and many other family members and friends.
