Tommy Coleman Obituary

Tommy Jonathon (TJ) Coleman entered the world ready for adventure on November 22, 1971.  His parents, the late Tommy Coleman and Bonnie Wilson Coleman, greeted him ready to guide him in his journey.  He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Willie I. TJ was educated in the LA Unified School District and was a proud graduate of Phineas Banning High School in 1989.  His desire for education took him to the University of West Virginia before moving to Los Angeles where he graduated from LA Trade Tech.  From there it was onto Wyoming to obtain Solar Energy Installation Certification.  He was an adventurer who wanted to know what made things “tick”.  TJ enjoyed serving as a Referee for sporting events and traveled calling games on both the Little League and High School levels. Recently, TJ gained expertise in Drone Technology and was employed by a major manufacturing concern providing service to that equipment.

He was kindhearted and volunteered at My Friends House LA. assisting in whatever capacity he was asked often feeding those who were hungry and homeless.  He made fast friends with staff and recipients alike.

No one place could hold his attention until he met the love of his life, Taireka Davis.  Together with their fur baby Peppy, they shared laughter, long talks, short getaways, concerts and visits to hang out with family.
