Tameka Lashawn Freeman was born on September 11, 1976 to Mary Freeman and Isaac Green. She was Mary’s fourth child. She was a graduate of Curry Elementary School and Huffman High School where she sang in the Chorus. She furthered her education in Job Corp. She also went to Jeff State Community College and Strayer University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree. She gave her life to Christ at an early age.
Later on in life she had two beautiful children that are left behind to cherish her memories: Ty’Kia and Ta’Miyah Freeman whom she loved with her whole heart. She was preceded in death by Nakia L. Freeman in 1985 and Byron T. Freeman in 2000.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving mother, Mary (Donald) Jackson; father, Isaac Green; two brothers, Lonnie (Lachelle) Freeman and Donald (Crystal) Jackson; two daughters, Ty’Kia and Ta’Miyah; and a host of family and friends.
