Rose B Crawford

Rose B Crawford of Birmingham, Al was born October 5,1920 to Willie and Donnie Tate in Noxubee, Mississippi. She peacefully entered eternal rest on September 4,2020 at her home in Ensley, Alabama.  Rose was a devoted follower of Christ were she was a long-time member of Antioch Baptist Church of Fairfield, AL. She was a selfless, caring ,generous ,and loving woman. She was a loving wife, mother ,aunt, and grandmother etc. She was a hard worker .She had a passion for working in her yard, cooking ,planting fruits, and vegetables, caring for family and friends ,and being a positive role model to others. Lastly ,she had a profound sense of humor. Her hobbies included reading the bible, cooking, yard work and singing hymns. She was the backbone of the family. We will miss her presence dearly. She is preceded in death by: husband, Robert Crawford; mother, Donnie Tate; father, Willie Tate; daughter, Ladye Bea Small; sons, Willie Bush, Gerald Crawford; and sister, Annie Lee Hood.

She leaves to cherish her legacy of memories:  her loving son-in law, John Small; her 8 grandchildren, Dianna(Luther)Billups, Marchelle Sutton, Deborah(Toriano)Jones, Cheryl(Cedric)Kuykendall, Ronald(Tracy)Small, Wendell Small, Darryl Small, Vincent Small; along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
