Mary Lou Staten

MARY LOU HUGLEY STATEN was born to the late Mary Hugley Brown and Albert Carlisle.   She was raised in Waverly Alabama.   She married Andy Staten (deceased)  residing  in the city of Triana, Alabama.  She loved and cared for all kids.  She was the neighborhood mother loved by all. 

Mary was a very active member of  St Paul United  Methodist Church in Triana, Alabama.  She was an active member of the Usher Board, where she served as Mother of the Board,  She was also a member of the  United Methodist Women Group.  When her health declined she relocated to Birmingham with her cousins.

She leaves three sisters Annie Williams, Phyllis Brown, Lula Bowens and one brother John Brown of Georgia and  other relatives and friends. She also leaves behind three children Carolyn Staten (deceased), Patrick Staten, and Johnny Staten.
