Lusha Annette Stinson was born to William Stinson and Annie L. Fortune in Birmingham, Alabama on July 24, 1960. Preceding her in death was her father and mother.
Lusha’s work was well done. She peacefully departed to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, but she never left our hearts and will always be by our side.
Lusha committed her life to Christ at an early age. For many years, she worshiped at the St. James A.M.E Church in historic Pratt City. If you knew Lusha, then you knew that she was always strongly grounded in her faith in God and love for people. Lusha leaves a strong legacy to all who knew and loved her.
Lusha was educated in the Birmingham City School System and a 1978 graduate of John Herbert Phillips High School.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one son; Vern Stinson (Denecia), one granddaughter; Kyndall Stinson, one sister; Sherry Richardson of Atlanta, Georgia, one brother; Jermaine Stinson of Atlanta, Georgia, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
