KENYA ELISE’ MARTIN was born, May 3, 2001, in Birmingham, Alabama to her parents: Kimberly Martin and Earl Ellis, Jr. At an early age Kenya confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with First Baptist Church of Adamsville, AL under the leadership Rev. Issac Patterson. KENYA was an honor graduate of Minor High School and enrolled at Bevill State Community College for additional studies. She enjoyed and treasured a warm and loving relationship with her family and friends. Her beautiful smile and warm personality will be remembered by all who shared her life. She was loved by so many and will truly be missed. “For there is comfort in knowing, to be absent from the earthly body, is to be present with the Lord.” KENYA was preceded in death by a Special Cousin, Jonathan Sumler. KENYA leaves loving memories to be cherish by her Parents: Earl Ellis, Jr. and Kimberly Martin, Stepfather: Mike Crocker, Grandmother: Beverly Martin. Five Sisters: Kristy Hinson, LaQuanta Moore, Tamia Ellis, Katelyn Martin and Jasmine Crocker. Four Brothers: Tamarius Ellis, Dacarius Hubbard, Kionte Harris and Cameron Martin. Special Aunt: Marshae Taylor, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin, relatives and friends that will miss her dearly
