Today we celebrate the homegoing of one of God’s most precious and unique creations, Geneva Rochelle Emmett.
She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 11, 1958 to Ruthie Mae.
She gave her life to Christ and was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church Pratt City.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Ruthie Mae; sisters, Mary Alice and Sherry; and brothers, Harold and Willie.
She leaves to cherish her memories: children, Erica (Desmond) Emmett, Tony (Patricia) Emmitt, Darian Griffin, Stella (Acie) Ramsey; sisters, Betty, Debra, Sandra and Sonja; brother, Robert; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; Godmother, Odessa Ashley; best friend, Jessie Mae Collier; and a host of nieces and nephews.
