Geneva (Bandy)” Crenshaw was born to the late Millie and Jackson Bandy on November 20, 1930. She grew up in Pratt City and attended Scott Elementary School and was a graduate of Parker High School in 1949. She had various short-term jobs; her long-time employment was with Baptist Medical Center Montclair. After 22 years she retired in 1994. She was married to late James Crenshaw. She was blessed with five children, three preceded her in death. She was added to Ensley Church of Christ at an early age. She attended several bible classes and was a faithful member until her health started to decline. She was called to Heaven on May 4, 2021.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Millie and Jackson Bandy; two sons, Cedric Crenshaw and James A Crenshaw; her daughter, Joslyn Crenshaw; five brothers and one sister. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Anthony (Viola) Crenshaw and Bridget ( Vincent) Thomas; one daughter in law, Wanda Crenshaw; ten grandchildren ; eight great grandchildren ; four great great grandchildren ; one sister, Rosie Davis of Columbus Ohio; a loving church family , nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
