Frances Ayers Obituary

Frances Ann Selma Ayers was born to her proud parents the late Johnnie Selma Jr. and  Leola Hayes Selma on August 5, 1950 in Birmingham, Alabama.  She is the nineth child  ten siblings.  Her husband Carl Ayers, son Ricky Ayers, and eight siblings all preceded her in death.

Frances confessed Christ at an early age.  She joined 23rd Street Baptist Church of Ensley and continued to serve God in faith.

Frances attended Western Olin High School and attended several nursing schools.  She used the necessary medical skills required that allowed her to affectionally and successfully care for her disabled son for fifty years. 

Frances Ayers’s memories will be cherished by her only remaining sibling David Hayes Selma Sr,(Jimmietta) of Lake View Terrace, California, sister-in-law Sheila Selma of Birmingham, Alabama, a host of nephews, nieces and cousins from various states, as well as a host of friends.

 

A loving one from us is gone

But in memory you will be with us always as you were before.

We will meet once again in another domain

We will meet far away where no troubles remain

We will meet where there is no fear and pain

Only peace and contentment, joy and love.
