Ethel Lee Parker, 78, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 7, 1948, in Goldhill, Alabama, she graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree and worked as a tax accountant and secretary. Ethel was a beautiful person who cared for everyone she encountered. She was devoted to her church and her family, always giving selfishly to others. She taught her family about Christ through both her words and her actions, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and compassion. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for those around her.
She is survived by her devoted children, Cleveland (Midori) Parker Jr. and Michelle (Kelvin) Mixon; adored siblings Ora Lee Achols, Queen Ester (Cody) Elzie, James (Laurantine) Echols, Nathaniel Williams; cherished grandchildren Nakeshia, Corey, Airika, Victor, Quinn, Jayla, Jerran, Jessamine, and J’Shell; beloved great-grandchildren De’Angelo, Kaleb, Emmanuel, Jeremiah, Elizabeth, and Azaria; her loving aunt, Myrtis Harris; and her best friend, Elizabeth Brown; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth (Eddie) (stepfather) Williams and Ora Lee Echols (Father).
Ethel will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
