Eric Dewayne Townsend

On October 6, 2020 Eric Dewayne Townsend died in Shelby County after a long battle with Cancer. He was 41 years old.

Eric Dewayne Townsend is survived by: his parents, Susette Willis and Solomon Etheridge of Bessemer Alabama; siblings, Tina Townsend Wilson (Avery) and Nicholas Townsend (Tara) of Bessemer, Alabama; two nieces, Brittany Denise Wilson and Ava Rain Townsend. He was preceded in death by Eugene and Mary Lee Townsend grandparents.

Eric Townsend was born on January 22, 1979 in Birmingham, Alabama.   He graduated from Jess Lanier High School in 1997 and went on to attend Southeastern School of Cosmetology where he graduated in 2003 with a degree in Cosmetology.
