Del Marie (Jones) Kimble

Del Marie Jones Kimble, was born on March 6, 1966, to Patricia J. Lofton and the late Frank M. Burroughs in Birmingham, Alabama. Del Marie confessed Christ at an early age and later she joined First Baptist of West Ensley.

She was educated in the Birmingham School District: Hudson Elementary School and graduated from Carver High School in 1984. Over 25 years, she worked in the Birmingham School system Hudson, Parker, and Princeton Elementary School where she retired from.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to her loving and devoted husband of 30 years, Kevin Kimble on Sept. 7, 1990. She leaves behind her cherish and precious memories:  three children, Kelvin Jones (Chiquita), Curtis Jones (Shaquana), and Crystal Paige (Adrian); Eighteen grandchildren, Ashley, Destiny, Sarina, Katelyn, Kelvin Jr., Mikayla, Kaleb, Cierra, Monterrious, Cameron, A’khari, Rashaad, Aeri’a, Amaury, Quantavious, Calena, Calasia, and Lindsay; One great grandchild, Kylin; Mother, Patricia; Five Sisters, Jacqueline (Anthony), Nanette (Paul), Gaynelle, Anita, and Felicia; Brother-in-laws, Johnny, Robert III; Sister-in-laws, Carrie Pearl (Bryan), Cynthia, and Loretta.  Special thanks to her faithful stepbrother Lorenzo (Butch) Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She departed on September 23, 2020 at 12:30pm at Princeton Hospital. .  Del Marie was proceeded in death by her one brother Michael Jones; Father, Frank; Father-in-law, Robert Kimble Jr.; Mother-in-law, Ethel Kimble; Brother-in-law, Nathaniel Kimble and one daughter-in-law Tawanna Shields.
