Deborah Williams was born on January 2, 1953 in Lipscomb, Alabama.
She confessed Christ at an early age. She received her education at A. G. Gaston Elementary School and Wenonah High School. She worked for many years at Birmingham Stove and Range and later retired from Eastside Nursing Home. Deborah enjoyed cooking and family gatherings.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, James Smith, Sr. and Evelyn Bradford Smith; two brothers, Dennis Smith, Sr. and James Smith Jr.; four sisters, Yvonne Smith Jackson, Annette Smith Quarles, Mary Alice Hinton, and Jocelyn Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Johnny (Iris), James, Marquis (Tewanda) and Lashuwnda; special grandson, Jalen Elms; a loving brother, Christopher E. Smith; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a special niece who was dear to her, Rhonda Henderson (Bop); a host of nieces, nephews, grand and great grandnieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
