Clarence Lee Brown II was born to Clarence and Geraldine Brown on December 30, 1969, in Birmingham, Alabama. At an early age Clarence learned the importance of GOD in his life, as a member of Bethel A.M.E . Church in Ensley.
Clarence II attended Holy Family Elementary School and was a graduate of Ramsay High School class of 1987. Clarence attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa (UA), the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB), and Miles College. Clarence earned his BA in Business Administration from Miles College.
Clarence II had the opportunity to experience work life in a variety of different industries. He has worked in the Sales Industry, Retail Industry, Education Industry, and experienced life as an Entrepreneur.
Clarence II knew the strength of empowering and building the community. He has been a volunteer with Bethel Ensley Action Task (B.E.A.T.). Within B.E.A.T. he has assisted in the building of affordable housing and the tutoring of the youth during the B.E.A.T. summer camp.
His time as Program Aide, at Brown Community School, shaped Clarence II’s journey to uplift the youth. This knowledge and experience allowed Clarence II to work on the creation of a Youth seminar that taught the youth necessary Life Building Skills.
Clarence II had a true love and true passion for fitness. This is a love and a passion that he shared with the community. He truly loved being a fitness trainer and a runner. This gave him the opportunity to motivate friends and/or family to keep moving. Bringing the community together at the fitness bootcamps always put a smile on his face and his soul.
Clarence II is a proud Brother of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Kappa Kappa Chapter.
Clarence Lee Brown II leaves to cherish his memory: his son, De’Varn (Brittney) Glenn of Tarrant, AL.; his mother, Geraldine M. Brown of Birmingham, AL; his grandson, Grey John Glenn; his brother, Dana Brown; Uncles; Aunts; Cousins; and host of friends.
