Charles Melvin Peterson

Charles Melvin Peterson was born on October 21, 1948. He went home to be with God on September 30, 2021. He was born to the late Mr. Willie James Peterson and Loreen Green in Birmingham, Alabama.

He confessed Christ at an early age and he joined a church in Cape Town, AL.  He attended A. H. Parker High School. He worked at Sanitary Rug and Carpet Cleaner Company for many years.

He meet Mary C. Farley and they lived together for many years until she preceded him in death.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Johnson; sisters, Majorie Jones, Louise Peterson, Mary Alice Peterson and Cynthia Faye Peterson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: brother, Willie James Peterson; sons, Zachariah (Sharon) Farley, Frank J. Madison, Andrew Farley, Charles Peterson, Jr. and Pete Peterson; daughters, Angela (Derek) Poole, Samatha Farley, Carolyn Peterson, Mary (Derrick) Atkins of Birmingham, Alabama and Marion, Alabama, a host of nieces and nephew and a host of special friends from Baby Kingston, Southside
