Caleb confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church of Ensley. During his youth, he was actively involved and participated on the Usher Board, Choir and Sunday School. Caleb - the Hebrew meaning of faithful, devoted; wholehearted, bold and brave Caleb - a son, born July 22, 1958 to the late Herman & Annie R. Linder Caleb - a brother to Ernest (Jessica) and Theresa Hampton Caleb - a grandson to L.A. & Leana Hampton who lovingly adopted and raised him and his siblings Caleb - a nephew to Clara Hampton of Atlanta, Georgia, Louis Hampton of Conyers, Georgia, Mildred (Randall) Ivy of Birmingham, Alabama, Carrie Scott of Cleveland, Ohio and deceased uncles John, James & Leon Hampton Caleb - a student who attended Council Elementary School, Western (Jackson-Olin) High School and furthered his studies at both A & M University and Miles College where he participated in the marching band and choir respectively Caleb - a painter, whose skills could be likened to Picasso; he enjoyed painting for family, friends, neighbors and local businesses
