We have come to celebrate with family and friends the life and legacy of Arnold G. Wheeler, Jr. Arnie, as he was affectionately known, was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 29, 1956, to the late Arnold Sr. and Chessie Wheeler. He confessed Christ at an early age and loved the Lord and the people of God. Arnie was united in marriage to Olivia Banks, the love of his life, on August 26, 1994. Arnie was the stepfather to their beloved son, Eric Hyson. Arnie was an “all-round athlete,” playing multiple sports. He favored and loved the Minnesota Vikings, his home team. Arnie departed this life surrounded by family and friends on September 4, 2023. We find comfort in knowing our loss is Heaven’s gain. He is preceded in death by his loving father and mother, and his precious grandparents. . He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Olivia, and son Eric; two sisters, Euralonder Hayslett of Dallas, TX, and Deborah Hardin of Kansas City; his loving and faithful caregivers, Sandra and William Kee; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.We have come to celebrate with family and friends the life and legacy of Arnold G.
