Brother Anthony “Bae Bro” Jackson Jr was the second child born to Anthony and Dawn Jackson on October 30, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Anthony was a long time resident of Birmingham, Al. he accepted Christ at an early age while attending Lily Grove Baptist Church. Later he joined St James Baptist Christian Center, where he maintained his membership until his transition.
Anthony was educated in the Birmingham School System where he attended Minor Elementary, Bush Middle School and Ensley High School.
Anthony worked for Kikstart nonprofit organization from its inception in the Birmingham area until his transition. As a member of the Kikstart team it gave him great joy to provide meals to the children in the local community. Anthony would some time give the children extra meals if he felt they may not have food available for that night. A man with a heart for the children. As the parking lot attendant for the St. James Baptist Christian Center, you never had to worry about getting your car stuck or hit with him overseeing the parking. As the church custodian he ensured every space in the church was extra clean. You knew Anthony had cleaned the church based on the overwhelming aroma of bleach and fabuloso.
Anthony was an avid dog lover and breeder. The best part of his day was making sure his dogs were well fed, rested, cared for, active, and socialized. He had such an eye for different breeds of dogs that he could name them by mere sight. In his spare time, he delighted in helping his cousin Traci are a farmer. Besides being an awesome employee, dog lover and part-time farmer he was a loyal and dependable father, son, brother, uncle, friend and soon to be grandfather. Whenever and wherever he was needed, he was there.
Anthony was preceded in death by grandparents, uncles and an aunt.
He leave to cherish his precious memories: three children, Tineya Jackson, Terrell Jackson Tuscaloosa, Al and Anthony Jackson III of Miami, Fl; Parents Dawn and Anthony Jackson; two sisters La’Shelle (Fred) Spears and Joy Jackson; one brother Travis D Jackson Sr; nephews Michael Jackson Sr. of Dallas, Tx, Jalen Martin, Jeremiah Tabb, Travis Jackson Jr, Malachi Jackson, Franklin Jackson of Birmingham, Al; nieces Makalah Kerr, Jalayah Jackson, Morgan Jackson, Lundyn Jackson and Ivy White; aunt Jacqueline (Eddie) Kindred, Lafreda Jackson and Victoria (Xavier) Hunter; uncle Calvin Moore of Birmingham, Al and Lorenzo Moore of Savannah, Ga; grandmother Eva Jackson; five great aunts; two great uncles; one great-nephew Michael Jackson Jr. of Dallas, Tx; mothers of his children Tiffany Rice and Tina Gibbs; Godmothers Patricia King and Felicia Tall; Godbrother Myreon Randdall and Jamal Pumphrey; Godsister Ristina Norwood; special friends Ashley Canty; mentor Dr. Douglas (Amelia) Jackson and a host of relatives and friends.
