Alonzo Colvin Jr was born at Baptist Medical Center, Princeton in Birmingham, Alabama on January 28, 1987. At the tender age of four years old, his family moved from Bessemer Alabama to Birmingham, Alabama where he grew into adulthood.
He attended Hillview Elementary, Bottenfield Middle School and graduated from Minor High School in 2006. He was employed as an iron worker with Heavy Industrial Contractors. If he was not at work, he spent countless hours having fun with his two adorable children, drawing art, and making his family laugh.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Alonzo Colvin Sr; maternal grandmother, Agatha Ramsay; paternal grandfather, Eddie Lee Colvin; maternal aunt, Paulette Clark; paternal aunts, Janice Colvin and Eddye Mae Lindsay; and paternal uncle, Edward Colvin.
Alonzo is survived by his mother, Marcie Colvin; son, Damoni Colvin; daughter, Avaiyah Colvin; brother, Martel Colvin; paternal grandmother, Ethel Colvin; aunts: Sharon McQueen, Faye Thomas, Sonya Brown, Daphne Palmer, Jeanette (Wilbert) Jackson, and Cheryl Colvin-Hayes; uncles: Patrick Rose, Keith Williams, James (Sharon) Colvin, Alfred (Yolanda) Colvin, Benny Colvin, Sylvester Colvin, and Rev. Alfonzo (Faye) Colvin; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
