Alberta (Gaines) White

Alberta Gaines “Mother White” Campbell White, 102, born December 2, 1918, of Birmingham, Ala., departed this May 24, 2021. She had three sisters: Viola, Gracie, and Thelma. She had two children: James and LeRoy Campbell (both deceased). Grandchildren: Cynthia, Carol, Jamie, LaTonia, Steve, Gail, and TamBratha. Grandchilden deceased (Two): Tollie and Vanessa. A host of nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church for many years and was an active member of the mother’s board.
